IT IS A RARE PRIVILEGE FOR US TO HAVE THIS TIME WITH OUR EFCA PRESIDENT; ALL CHURCHES ARE ENCOURAGED TO HELP THEIR STAFF PASTORS ATTEND THIS EVENT!

We will be offering the EFCA History and Polity Class at HIS PLACE, Post FALLS, ID
on Fri-Sat March 24-25, 2017. This will be taught by Greg Strand, director of EFCA biblical theology and credentialing.
Our goal is to provide this at NO COST, other than your transportation. You will want to plan to completely block out Friday and Saturday for the class.
This is an extremely rare and important opportunity. Not only does this fulfill the reading qualification for applicants for Licensing and Ordination, but it will provide an authoritative and extensive overview of the Evangelical Free Church history, culture, doctrine and direction. I an think of no better opportunity to be offered this DECADE for people to learn about the EFCA.
WHO: we strongly encourage every church to send as many key leaders and interested individuals as possible. Pastors, other Staff, elders, deacons, teachers, aspiring young leaders.
UNDERWRITING – We are looking for contributions to underwrite this class in the amount of 2500.00. If any individuals or churches want to make a contribution/pledge for this, please contact me directly by email or phone(below).

Three new board members were elected at the NMD annual district conference held May 5-7 in Liberty Lake, WA.
Chuck Fogerson was elected to a 2 year term. Chuck has previously served on the board, and has served continuously as Board Secretary for some 7 years.
Ryan Caudill, Senior Pastor of Liberty Lake Church, was elected to a 2 year term. Ryan has a great interest disciple-making and in church planting, and is a welcome addition to the District. We are thankful for his recent leadership as the Liberty Lake Church hosted our 2016 annual conference.
Laurie Stuck, Senior Pastor of Faith Bible Church in Libby, MT, was also elected to a 2 year term. Laurie has previously served on the district board, including serving as Chairman.
All three men are eligible to serve a second 2 year term, beginning in 2018.
The District Board, at their first meeting of the 2016-2017 year, appointed Pastor John Contreras, Osburn, ID, to be a special District Representative for the coming year. John recently completed 4 years of service on the district board, including 1 year as Chairman. He will be available to district churches to enhance communication and coordination of joint ministry within our district. John is especially eager to explain and promote our church planting program, Partners in Extension (P.I.E.).
If your church would like to schedule John to speak on a Sunday, or meet with leadership, contact him at:

At the annual district conference of the Northern Mountain District, EFCA, Lee Kisman was re-elected to a 3 year term as District Superintendent. The conference was held at Liberty Lake Church, in Liberty Lake, WA on May 5-7. Lee is currently serving both as superintendent and interim pastor at Grace Bible Church in Forsyth, MT. He previously pastored churches in Kennewick, WA and Spokane, WA, each for 15 years. Lee began serving as superintendent in 2012.
